About me

I’ve always been interested in how our minds work and how people relate to each other. As well as writing about mental health throughout my career, I have worked with university student and staff wellbeing and volunteered on local helplines supporting people who are struggling.

After finding validation, challenge and support in my own therapy, and particularly exploring my own queerness, I decided to train to become a therapist myself.

I have worked with several mental health charities, including Bristol Mind, where I provided weekly counselling to LGBTQIA+ clients.

Academic qualifications

Master’s in Counselling and Psychotherapy, University of the West of England
